BOY/GIRLFRIENDS

Right now, I'm watching Chinese movies. During the movies i was checking my emails, and one of my friend asked me "how do you feel about boyfriends?"
That question made me think a lot. Then i finally said "I think boyfriends are a waste of time."
Even though i had two, my life was getting worst. My first boyfriend had me getting into fights. But it wasn't his fault. i chose the decision to get in the fight. i liked my second boyfriend, but since the fight i though it was best to just cut it off early. Why do we have boyfriends? Is it to prove that we are cool? I thought for the answer i was giving to her and i was satisfied. i'm not forcing you to give up with your boy/girl friends but i'm tell you how i feel about my feelings for them. Just two of my friends has or had boyfriends. I hope you understand these feelings.
